I'll be on my way real soon..The day is finally here for me to return home (for a while)! I've been waiting for this day for so damn long, will miss you guys while I'm away.. heehee...
5 more hours to go.. wooh-ooh...
Alrighty, time to go to bed now.. good night peeps..
It's baking time and time for me to play host again.. yeah.. Finally hosted this bunch of my ex-colleagues over at my place for dinner. A few of them came over earlier to do some baking and we made a lemon tofu cheescake, a mango cheese cake and apple crumble. All done within 4 hours.
While the cakes and crumble are baking in the hot oven/chilling in the fridge, dar dar and I were preparing my so called "man han quan xi"... haha... Nay, we simply had a chinese dinner this time round and here's the menu...
Emperor Herbal Chicken
Broccoli with carrot and prawns
Potato with Luncheon meat in tomato sauce
Fried spicy chicken drumlets
Carrot, potato and corn soup
Fried chicken wings from Ikea - courtesy of Eddie and Yvonne
Japanese agar-agar, fried otah cakes and fish balls - courtesy of Seok Hong
(Looking at the spread and with 8 adults and 2 toddlers, we still couldn't finish all the food. So I packed and brought the leftovers to my mum's for lunch on Sunday.)
Well, we had the cakes and crumbles for desserts but it's not chilled long enough. They tasted better the next day... I like the mango cheesecake best and I'm so going to make the apple crumble again cos I wanna make it as good as the first time I tried it...
I had fun baking, cooking and cleaning up for that day... And I am so happy to take a photo with Cadee. Sadly Janelle couldn't join us.. Cadee was abit cranky and cried a few times, unfamiliar faces and environment I guess, but a cutie pie no matter what! Hope to see and play with her again.. ;p..
Alright, maybe I shall host my family, my close friends and my new colleagues over for meals again and again.. I'm itching to cook and bake... haha..
Hi5Always enjoyed the precious moments with my lovely nieces and simply love observing their interesting behaviours, teaching them new things and watching them learn...
Went to watch Hi5 with my bro and SIL together with the girls.. it's pretty fun but long queue manz.. you have to queue 1hr in advance to get a seat in the compound right in front of the stage and to earn a chance to take photos with the Hi5..
Parents these days really went all out to do anything for their kiddos.. I take my hat off them.. ;p..
We spent a good 8 hours or so in taka to catch the show, to shop around and to have dinner together... the carpark charges was "amazing" too! ... haha...
