Mon quatrième anniversaire de mariage
We went back to our cosy little home over the weekend, 21~22 June 2008, to celebrate our xylx0624. You know where is our cosy little home? It's Ritz.. Ritz was sweet enough to upgrade our stay to a suite and give us a complimentary mango mousse cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary! We planned for it to be a relaxing stay so we went for a massage at the hotel spa, went to Ai Qin Hai to listen to live music and went to the gym for a workout after our Sunday morning breakfast before checking out. Both of us felt that it was too short a stay so the next time we go, minimum two nights..

The cake was yummy!

I received a pleasant surprise on 0624! The surprise was a bouquet of purple roses from my SO delivered to my office. Felt so touched by his sweet gesture! This is the FIRST time he bought flowers for me since we got together in 2002! Not that he don't wanna buy but cos his SO (me!) finds giving flowers impractical, shortlived and a waste of money... But don't they look pretty in purple? hee..















And of course, a nice purple card to make it the best surprise!

Now, if you attempt to count the flowers, you will get 15. So what does 15 mean? I checked the web and found this... "I am truly sorry, please forgive me!".. So I jokingly sms-ed him, "Dar dar, you are forgiven.." ..haha.. Well, this happened because the flowers came in a bunch of 15 so my SO just take it. But upon knowing the message behind the number of roses, my SO informed the florist to throw away 4 roses but apparently, the florist forgot to do so. Anyways, who cares about the number, I get more purple roses instead (15>11 mah) and the roses are just perfect for our flower wedding anniversary!

And see what happened to it before it takes the slide down to where it will rest forever.

On the same day, I treated my SO to a nice dinner at Earle Swensens @ T3 after work! We enjoyed the dinner lots and I am sure we will go there for dinner again and again...

So we've been married for four years! Looking back, there were ups and downs and we realised many things, some good and some not so good. I believe all married couples will inevitably have to go through all these but remember, it ain't easy for two individuals to come together so have to cherish and put in effort to work it out unless...

To me, my SO and I are made for each other and we will surely put in effort to brave all odds together so I am sure we will have many many more years ahead...
