Never seen so many "Shredders" walking around in my life, all walking in ttsh.. and I'm one of them.. Don't take another step if you don't put on your masks.. that's how strict it is.. Also, never realised that it's so hard to get those hand sanitizers.. all sold out when one of our friends wanted to get it.. Never stood in front of the basin for the longest time just to wash my hands, 10 steps on how to wash your hands.. omg..

Lovely Le-Le..

After so long, finally get to see Le-Le again.. The last time I saw her was when she was like less than a month young. But now, she is about seven month young... She looks so pretty and cute with those big big eyes of hers and sweet sweet smile with her little dimple. Kids change fast.. Hmm... wanted to show y'all some pics of her but I was too engrossed with talking and playing with her that I forgot to take photos of her.. hehe.. next time k..

Thanks to my dear friends for creating the opportunity for us to catch up with Jacky, Feng Yan and Le Le.. the next time I bump into Le Le, I wanna take a picture of her and with her, if possible.. ;p..

Hard Rock Cafe

You know where serves such huge portion of nachos with cheeseeeeeee?....

My 2nd visit to HRC with dar dar and our 2 other friends. The first time was with my classmates from AF and I enjoyed it lots that I've been pestering dar dar that I wanna go there for dinner and drinks again. And I chose Saturday again as there is live band on Saturdays.

The 1st visit I had snacks and drinks, this time we tried the main courses off the menu. We ordered caesar salad, trio combo, nachos with cheese, something else (cannot remember) and mudpie. The food was okay, portions way too big but the nachos and mudpie were nice!

The ambience was cool, playing nice english songs familiar to my ears and you will see many foreigners there! Welcome to America.. haha.. nay.. The music was kinda loud though but it gives you a chance to get close to each other as we speak.. haha..

As we had to go off soon after dinner, we could only stay for 2-3 songs sung by the live band. Liked this song they sung, "Always Be My Baby" by David Cook and downloaded it! Service wise, the staff were friendly and I still wanna go again, again and again.. haha.. sit there chill as I enjoy the live band music..

Wedding door games

One of my close girlfriends will be getting married next weekend and the jie meis have been in discussion of the "wedding door games". I will hesitate at times when it comes to doing this partly cos I cannot convince myself that it makes sense to so call "tekan" the groom and brothers apart from wanting to be part of the whole thing. So what exactly is the purpose of this "wedding door games", is it some kind of Chinese Tradition?

And so I went to surf net and found this...

"Door games originated from ancient time which implies that the bride is a lovely girl and her family and friends do not want to marry her away. The groom will be blocked at the bride's door, and her friends will try to stop him from entering by asking questions about the bride, a way to test if he really cares about her. They may also do other tricks to delay the bride's leaving. The groom will try to buy his way in by presenting "Li Shi", token money wrapped in red envelopes. The entire "bargain" process is joyous and good-natured."

Hmm.. why would need to test? Perhaps true for the olden times where the bride and groom doesn't know each other well or were engaged since birth... haha.. But we can't say this for our generation, we probably pak-tor for many years to finally decide to get married so the door games is to maybe and probably a delay tactic.. it should not be demeaning for the guys.. we will try our best not to do that.. hee.. ;).

I'm Claire bear?

I feel like Claire-bear lately, maybe one day there will be no more Claire-bear..

Busy period lately at work and personal life, lotsa things to settle yet time and mood sometimes worked against me.. Damn.. Backlog in work and personal life, when will I seriously get down to it?! Do I need to make a to-do list and strke off once settled to give myself a sense of satisfaction.
Well, at least I managed to shelf all those stuffs and went to enjoy the CATS musical tonight with my girlfriend. It was splendid and I really liked the popular and well-known song for the musical.. Memory..

If you don't respect your time, why should people respect your time..

I need a break! I really need a break!

I am glad to hear the same from my workholic dar dar! But when is it going to happen?... Was looking forward to a cruise holiday but it is not going to happen liao so dunno how and what to do manz..

Tomorrow is the start of the week again!!! Aaarrggghhh... Gonna be a busy week ahead til 30 April.. am so looking forward to the end of this month..

伟菘 思菘 <好友音乐派对> 2009

昨晚我们参与了伟菘及思菘的音乐派对，还蛮好玩的! 我很少去注意谁是某某歌的作词作曲者，但若是知名的，我还略懂几个。这对孪生兄弟就是其中一个。到了昨天，我才真正知道他们有很多创作和那些我曾熟悉的歌竟然是他们作曲的。

他们举办这个音乐会是因为今年是他们歌唱事业的第二十五周年记念。 他们也就趁这个时候唱一唱他们自己的创作和展现一下他们的音乐才华，自弹自唱等。。听了听就觉得两位老师都有他们自己的创作风格。。也听出他们比较适合做幕后工作。。

真的很难得两位兄弟都热爱音乐然后又能一起坚持到今天成为知名的音乐人。。伟菘思菘，继续加油哦! 好欣赏那些为自己的理想而勇往直前的人。。我就没他们那种魄力啦。。

他们也邀请了几位特别嘉宾。。有。。

萧敬滕，他的歌声很厚，很特别。。虽然他不是很帅， 但是他唱歌时候那陶醉的样子就是一种帅气。。

邓妙华 (她是伟菘的偶像哦)，我听过她的歌但是不是很熟悉。。

陈晓东， 没以前那么帅了，开始他先唱别人的歌，唱得还好， 但是当他唱他自己的歌时就很好。。有些时段他也蛮好笑的，可能是因为他的肢体语言有些滑稽。。

罗志祥，我的最爱!我好喜欢他!主持人就是主持人，很会搞笑，搞气氛，好想念以前常常看百分百的日子。。叹。。

蔡依林，一直以来就喜欢她的穿着打扮，觉得她很漂亮!我若是男人，一定会追她。。哈哈。。 她不只是外表好看，她唱歌也非常好听。。

孙燕姿，她有备而来，为伟菘老师伴奏一曲。。

还有那周崇庆!他最好笑了。。他一身的’哎哟哟’打扮让全场笑翻了天。。

总的来说，这个派对还okay lah，歌手唱歌跟创作人唱歌是有不同的喔。。:)。。

Pourquoi

Je crois qu'elle s'attend que je fasse le travail comme si je vais être le directeur quand elle est le directeur..

Peut-être elle est indolente ou ne vouloir pas le faire ou vouloir faire moins de travail si possible..
Peut-être elle veut m'entraîner mais je ne suis pas convaincu parce qu'il est elle...ah.. je ne sais pas..

It's been a while..

It's been a while since the siblings and the significant others gathered up for some entertainment. We went to sing KTV together last night and invited everyone except Papa Chua and Mama Chua, even Baby Elsie and Baby Chloe were invited. But of course, amplified singing at KTV is not an activity suitable for kids at their age, and so Papa Chua Jr. and Mama Chua Jr. did not join us as well. Well, am lookng towards the day when it will be all of us out for latehs, dinners whatever.. hehe.. that would be cool! ;)

Watched F&F4 and it never fails to impress me!
Loved the 10-second cars and when it's coupled with the superb driving skills of the macho guys, it's a ride manz! If only I can have a ride with them in the same car, as a passenger..*dreaming*

Realised something today that as one grows up, there are two very important persons in one's life that one may feel obligated and unconditionally care for and that is own kids and/or own folks (as they age).. so this will be what most people will be busy with apart from work... Don't get me wrong, it's totally okay as this is part and parcel of life and a natural process that almost everyone has to go through... yes? Hint hint.. one can be avoided but the other can't.. you know which one?.. hehe..

Yummy homemade apple crumble..

Had a yummy homemade apple crumble for dessert during lunch.. courtesy of Wang Noh.. It was really tasty, not too sweet and lotsa crumbles! I would like to have it again and maybe I should learn how to make it myself and learn to make it as good as hers.. I am missing the taste already..

Zodiacs

Most of the time, these writeup for zodiacs do not impress me much. But this one is an exception, I seem to be able to connect with majority of what I read here and am nodding my head as I read.. some traits were subconsciously lost due to a setback some years back and I'm still hoping to find back that part of me...

CAPRICORN WOMAN

LIBRA MAN

Je veux me plaindre

Je ne comprends pas et je suis irrité. Elle veut m'exposer ou il n'y a personne pour faire les nouveaux travaux? Il y a d'autres gens qui sont libres, pourquoi vous ne leur demandez pas? Je crois que je suis irrité parce que je n'aime pas travailler avec quelqu'un qui n'est pas très responsable.

Confessions of a Shopaholic

She's so sweet and funny and he's so charming. Enjoyed the way she danced (if you have watched it you will know what I mean) and the way she feasted her eyes on all the branded stuffs (which we probably never heard of in Singapore) and loved the way he speaks prada.

I so want to shop like her like un uncontrollable kid and dress myself up everyday and everytime I go out! But I feel that I looked inferior to people around me so wth.. If I can overcome my inferiority complex, I think I would have a wardrobe full of beautiful clothes, shoes, bags and pamper myself so very much! Hope that day will come one day but it takes a lot of courage and confidence.. and did you know dressing up is an ART.. I like ART.. :)

Luckily there is this thing called credit cards so not to worry about money if you are a shopaholic like her! But be prepared to be haunted by the debt collector! I never would swipe my credit card any-o-how thanks to the negative demo from Papa Chua so I plan my finances wisely. So if you don't know how to teach your kid, do it the negative way and let the kid decide for himself/herself... smart move.. but a wasted living though.. in my opinion..

Drinking my morning teh-siu-dai as I type this blog, an act that simply distant me from you know....You know what pleases me most? Bread with butter sometimes with ham, cucumber, tomatoes and a cup of fresh juice or fruits, c'est simple et parfait! I cannot afford such breakfast everyday though cos it is time consuming.. I'm a born procrastinator when it comes to certain things.. haha.. C'est ma vie!
