I'm starting my favourite cooking and guests-hosting sessions again, partly cos I love cooking and having friends and family over at my place, it's so fun! I have so many ideas, recipes and stuffs I wanna share and enjoy with my friends and family..
Just a week ago, my friends (who enjoyed cooking too) and I prepared dinner together and this weekend, I invited my siblings, princess Elsie and Chloe over for dinner at my place..
Dinner menu
Japanese curry don with spicy chicken wings/scallops
Longan with 7-up
Red wine
Kids' meal
Tofu nuggets (baked)
Carrot and pototo puree with chicken
Didn't know the extent of the foods that the girls can take at this stage, so made puree-style stuffs (to be on the safe side). But was informed that they can take french fries now so my worry was unfounded and I should have prepared a more interesting and nutritous toddler meal for the princesses!... Next time then...
For all of us..
For the kiddos..

This is also the first time the princesses popped by cool-cool-jess place since they moved to their new home 2 months ago! Don't really know if they remember this place, they were just walking around as usual. We wonder if they will ever remember that they stayed at our place before.. hmm...
Oh yes, missed the opportunity to catch up with my other friend who sms-ed me then. Tempted to catch up with her but couldn't.. I also missed my opportunity to catch up with her and other gfs for high tea last Friday.. :(.. sobs.. hope to catch up with her and the rest soon..

Before they popped by, dar dar and I made mooncakes together. Our first mooncake-making lesson! Had wanted to do this since the last time I tried the mooncakes made by my fren's mum! "Zheng-Gua-Zi" ones.. You can only get those if you make it yourself! And so I did..
Gave away some to my siblings and in-laws...hee... so far the feedback was good but I feel that there is still room for improvement! Tempted to do it again and I just might since I still have some ingredients left.. :)...
