What I think of 2010?

I think the year 2010 was fair.. Really thankful for working with peeps whom I can work well with as a team, to be able to go on a trip with my lovely nieces, bro and SIL, to be enlightened that politics is everywhere and 人心可畏, to have obtained the SIATP membership and to recover from likely dengue.

I wish 2011 will be a happy, healthy and fulfilling year!

Number 1 on the list ~ Return to office to work and settle whatever is outstanding so that the peak period will be manageable and I won't end up in a state of frenzy which is definitely gonna be devastating to my health!

This always happens..

After this unfortunate incident, I am now more determined to tidy and clean up our house thoroughly and throw out things that I continuously buy to pile up our house since I have space! It is so wrong!

It's really a nightmare to have to tidy and throw out stuffs and clean the dust! And for all you know, I may find creepy crawlers as I clean which I am scared!

I am bent on making sure that there is no chance for mosquitoes to breed in my house! I didn't know a bite from a mosquito can be so deadly! Those ppl with kids, dengue is serious!!!! I repeat, serious!

Anyways, lazy me decided it's time to spend some money and find someone to do the chores for our house on a part time basis soon! I need help to sort and throw out and clean up things and I know I cannot do it on my own.. I need help!

I used to think it is manageable to clean the house on our own since it's just the two of us and there aren't many things to settle... but after 6 years and with ill disciplined me.. sigh... So my thinking slowly changed to this..

Since it's just the two of us, it's really not that important to do the chores like in the past! It's as if I think our lives are not worth looking after anymore but I'm so wrong! We should nonetheless not have to suffer any ailments unnecessarily if we can avoid! Furthermore, rest is now of more importance to us given our hectic lifestyle! So once we have time, doing the chores is not on our mind but REST!

So we must get external help! Any good recommendations?

Why do we wait till something happens and then start to act? It may not be exactly related to the incident on hand but when you think alot, you start to link up everything! Humans.. *roll eyes*

When you are sick and you are at home
Wanna drink water but no water so tap water is the best choice
Temperature of tap water made the nauseous DINK puke

Wanna have a cup of warm beverage but have no hot water
It's gotta be warm to feed a super hungry DINK immediately but no water at room temperature, next best choice, tap water
Once you boil water, you only have hot water
To wait for the water to cool, super hungry DINK would be famished!

Wanna have some proper warm food but need to cook yet no energy to monitor cooking
Waiting for the food to be cooked and cool can be torturous for a famished DINK
Famished and nauseous DINK decided to walk over to mum's but once out of the house, started to puke again..
Didn't eat anything but puked non-stop.. really CRAZY.. but I'm sure I'm pretty much emptied..

Felt like eating this or that and so dar dar went to buy..
After taking a bite, wifey said no appetite.. he finishes it..
This process keeps repeating.. wifey feels bad about wasting food but simply refuse to down the food still..
Some said I'm pregnant but I'm so sure I'm not.. cos if I am, I will give birth to baby pupa cos Mr Mosquito "impregnated" me.. haha.. how gross!

Well, at least now I know how it feels like to be pregnant.. poor ladies.. that feeling really really sucks big time!.. haha..

Staying over at my mum's brought back fond memories and made me realised how wonderful it is.. all the above.. SOLVED! And it's even better cos towels will be washed daily, clothes too and they get to see the sun, cut fruits, house is clean, mum gets company to chit chat, I get to chat with Calz, watched TVB shows together with mum and Calz, laughter and tears... reminds me of those days when we stayed at home to watch "Huan Zhu Ge Ge" together! Calz was like so young and cute! Haha...

A "break" not the way I wanted

Is it really payback time?
Recently, vomitted due to a rotten egg...
Now, vomitted like crazy due to likely dengue...
I seldom vomit, I only burp food, but this is the "BEST"...
Vomit whatever I try to eat or drink, didn't eat much yet have a lot to vomit..

Digestive system already not very good, with this two unexpected "attacks", seriously brought the functions down further and it's now more sensitive than ever.. :(..

Torture followed by sweet recovery under mum's care while I'm on hospitalization leave now till 31 Dec
Had planned to shuttle to and fro my mum's everyday so that I will have proper meals and sufficient warm water to drink..
However, couldn't return home to rest on Sunday as I started to vomit again. So decided to stay at my mum's throughout instead..
Dar went home to grab some necessities and stayed over with me at my mum's... so sweet..
Had cut fruits everyday and being able to see my sweet and lovely nieces sure helped me to recover too.. :)... Yippie!

Enjoyable day out with friends ended on a sad note with Mr High Fever 39, popped panadols

18 Dec

Last French lesson with classmates and went home to nurse Mr High Fever, popped panadols
Curry Fish Head dinner with family but ended up vomitting and did not eat much, no appetite
Went home, popped panadols, no appetite
Visit to the doctor

19 - 21 Dec

Popped pills, sponged non-stop through the night and no appetite, nauseous always
Mr High Fever is still haunting me!
Visited the doctor 1-2 times
It's crazy and I'm almost going crazy!
Throwing tantrums is not going to help and I have zero energy as I can't take no food down..
Patient me and perseverance from dar kept me going..
Bent on getting well but seriously can't eat..

Still not looking good
Visited the doc and decided to go SGH A&E
Dar accompanied me to A&E
Blood test was finally done, blood platelets is low! White blood cells was not favourable too..
Had to repeat blood test and if it continues to decrease, to be warded..

23 to 25 Dec

True enough, blood platelets decreased! Had to be warded for observation!
Faced my worst fears! To be on the DRIP!!!!!!! OUCH!!!!!!
Couldn't join in for any of the Xmas celebrations planned with family and friends! DEPRESSED....
But what to do, health is more important...
Luckily, dar accompanied me throughout and we watched TVB show together which got my mind off things..

So blood test everyday, poke right hand then poke left hand then right hand again, vice versa..
Realised that there are many people who care for me from FB and visitors..
My boss came too, was shocked.. :)..

Felt bad not being able to check any work, reply or forward emails..
Could only stay in bed and hope my colleagues have the initiative to settle while I am down and out..
Couldn't stay sober and always in nauseous mode..
Always hungry but couldn't eat or drink at all..
Vomitted and LS..
One word, TORTUROUS!

Finally, platelet count was on a upward trend so was discharged to recuperate at home but to repeat blood tests at polyclinic wef 27 Dec till platelet count was normal, meantime to be careful not to injure myself lest I bleed to death since blood wouldn't clot.. hehe.. just kidding.. ;p..

Third holiday for the (financial) year

Rejuvenation in Bali! We booked a 3D2N pool villa stay at The Amala, Bali to rest and relax!

Day 1

Boarded plane~Vroom!~Set foot in Bali!~Checked into the Villa! Nice villa but we had higher expectation for the pool but it was good enough for 2-3 strokes only so we were like.."uh-huh".. We think too much! Haha.. It only makes sense to be that big for a Villa..~ Settled in~Walked-about the Villa~Splish-Splash, took a mini swim in the pool~Showered and waited for our candle-light dinner to be served in the Villa!~Watched TVB show before turning in for the night..

Day 2

Wakey-wakey~Bfast in Villa~Watched TVB show~Strolled to the beach, nice beach with powerful waves, unfortunately we weren't in the right attire, otherwise I would have swam in the sea and break those strong waves~Splish-Splash in our pool instead~Showered and went for our pampering massage for 2h15mins, heavenly!~Watched TVB show~Changed and boarded our pre-arranged transport to a Seafood restaurant for our Seafood dinner by the beach, cool!~Returned to our villa to find a nice flower bath prepared for us with flower petals spreaded and mini candles laid all over the bathtub, so sweet!~Watched TVB show and Zzzzz...

Day 3

Wakey-wakey~Bfast in villa, we practically tried everything off the breakfast menu over the two days, yummy! Bali can cook! Thumbs up!~Splish-Splash~Showered and watched TVB show till time to check out and head to the airport~Walked-about the airport and watched TVB show whenever we had the chance~Finished the show that night in Singapore~Perfect!

We really felt rejuvenated after this holiday!

I feel that Bali is a very service oriented country and the Balinese peeps have this really friendly disposition which is so apt! They are always so hospitable! I really like them.. Pssst.. some of the hospitable staff were pretty handsome leh..

Interesting things that we found out through chit-chat sessions with the hospitable staff from the Villa...

Did you know that they had to pay Rp1.3million to an agency in order to come to Singapore to work in the hospitality industry?

Did you know the kiddos in Bali can start to learn and obtain the bike license when they are 13 years old? Shuttling around Bali can be quite difficult so I think I should learn bike license so that the next time I visit Bali, I can simply rent a bike..

I think if it weren't so difficult for them to come to Singapore to work, I'm sure they will have a bright future here.. :)..

Took advantage of the opportunity to attend my Company's Dinner & Dance at MBS and booked a 2 nights stay! Staycation @ MBS, my second holiday!

Day 1

Checked in~Was given a suite with lousy view but it was better than nothing~Walked around the hotel abit then almost time to get ready for the D&D~Dinner ended~After I was back in the room, we ordered room service as we were abit hungry, ordered club sandwich with hot chocolate~then ZZzzZzz thereafter

Day 2

Wakey-wakey~Gym workout~Showered and went for brunch at Marina Bay Sands Shoppes then checked out the shopping arcade~Swimming~Napped~Dinner~Took a dip in the bathtub~then zzZZzz

Day 3

Wakey-wakey~Ordered room service for our breakfast~Swam in the infinity pool, rephrased, dipped in the infinity pool~Napped~Checked out at 1pm (Yes, late checkout!.. yippie!)..

The room was really nice and the view at the infinity pool is breath-taking! The architect for this hotel is really something and the feel created up there is cool.. I'd love to stay there again but maybe when MBS is really ready! We gathered that they opened in a rush, with the makeshift gym facilities (we were disappointed with that), the makeshift eateries at the shopping arcade and ongoing construction at the shopping arcade! One thing that's really UP, the CASINO and the many, many ATMs! Haha..

First holiday for the (financial) year

Had been blogging from iPhone these days but this is nice.. sitting in front of a proper and efficient pc blogging..

Good morning peeps.. not knowing what the new year holds so we planned small trips this year! First trip for the (financial) year - To KL with Tian and Ming..

Day 1

Coach ride day ~ Nice waiting lounge ~Entered Jam Zone after passing SG Customs check-point.. 2 hours jam, golly! ~ Started snacking and chatting while waiting to reach the end of the Jam Zone ~ Before reaching the end of the Jam Zone, the AC broke down ~ Stuffiness sets in and we were gasping for air (Nay, just kidding) ~ Everyone started perspiring ~ After crossing Malaysian Customs, the driver said we need to head to the nearest petrol kiosk to have the AC repaired and some belts changed and so everyone relunctantly boarded the bus ~ Reached the kiosk and all alighted to buy snacks and hang around the kiosk as we wait ~ Suddenly, the shattering sound of glass followed by scream and cries from a little boy and peeps ~ A lady came forward to carry the boy and I saw another lady running away from the crime scene ~It happened all too fast and god knows how it happened ~ Didn't see what happened but boy was bleeding and the shattered glass came from the glass door to the minimart.. sigh..

Waited for the coach to be repaired to bring us to our destination, journey was delayed by 4 hours or so..

Checked into Sheraton Hotel KL and went out for dinner at Berjaya Times Square and then a little walkabout in the mall before heading back to the hotel to rest and did a little bit of planning for the next few days..

Day 2

Wakey-wakey~bfast at Old Town White Coffee near Lot 10 Shopping Centre~Shopping~you name the malls and I can tell you that I've been there.. Searched for this famous Bak Kut Teh and found it! But there was no more you tiao to go with it.. :(.. But it was delicious, a bit on the saltish side though.. The day ended with that..

Day 3

Wakey-wakey~Travelled to this new mall to shop around~Found Papa Roti, yummy! You can only find this in IMM @ Singapore so everytime when I go to IMM I must have it!~Shopping~Had our lunch @ Madam Kwan~Shopping~Found our way to Chinatown to shop and have dinner~Chinatown is like a pasar-malam just like the Ladies Street in HK~Back to hotel for the day! The day I bought my first few simple black dresses, a belt and make-up kit (so that I can replace and throw out my 10 year-old make-up foundation, blusher, lipstick etc..).. to last me another 10 years?! haha..

Day 4

Wakey-wakey~checked out places near our hotel and had our nasi-lemak cum curry puffs breakfast at a simple cafe within this shopping mall, called SOGO~Shopping~Checked out~Sumptuous lunch at Tian Wai Tian Restaurant, it was delicious!!! This marked the end of our holiday though the return journey was delayed too! Well...

KL was one of the countries I stayed for a few years while I was a child, thanks to Papa Chua... But as I was too young, the memories that I had of KL were abit fuzzy but sweet! I remember the apartment that I stayed with my parents and siblings, I remember my BMX bicycle, I remember not able to go cycling with my siblings together after dinner as I eat too slow, I remember my dad's red car, I remember being doted by some uncles/aunties of my dad, I remember an unfortunate incident and THE END of the red car, I remember my late beloved grandma and aunties who came over to KL and we went to Cameron Highlands/Genting together... all these memories are to do with family, relatives and friends but nothing much about KL?..

So this time that I went to KL, I planned on seeing for myself what is there in KL and indeed I have..

进化论

Kids these days can be quite a show-off but that's because the parents allow them the material needs.. It makes me wonder what and how the parents explain the value to them.. How it is measured.. etc..

So can you imagine by the time they start work, what would they buy with their salary and also what would they say of things I thought was already "wow" to me in the current situation..

The power of the evolvement of mankind yeah..

What was once "wow" to me is nothing to them as they think it's to easy to get
Hmm..true with the level of increasing effluence.. And so since I dunno how to appreciate (like them), it makes no sense to compare so 我不该care也无权comment.. Are our parents seeing what I see through my eyes now, many years back?.. Hmm.. Are we each others' witnesses in life?

So...I conclude that appreciating what I care is of greater value to me, surprisingly those listed happen to be non-material.. And that's because I'm made that way.. :)..

赖在床上看magazine及blog了整一个半钟头了，该是时候起床做一些我care的事..:).. Heehee..

Cool!

Been a while since I coax baby Elsie and baby Chloe to sleep, this time at my mum's. A new sleeping environment for them to adapt. Lovely to see them sleep.. Love'em!!! Their parents had a wedding dinner to attend which they expected would end late so the girls slept over at my mum's.

And that means.. The parents can lateh with the siblings worry-free (I hope)... Voila! We headed to JK close to midnight, lateh and chatted till 1.30am.. So cool!

Dinner & Dance 2010

My second experience at my company's dinner and dance which was held on 19 November 2010. This year was the firm's silver anniversary so GLAM is the word! It was fun
dressing up and being made up! Smoky and cool was the created look for me.. Looked kinda fierce if I dun smile... The food was nice but lady luck was not with me! Went back empty handed... Oh well..

I cannot understand why it is so difficult to accept an average score like B? You can then learn to improve, right? I also cannot understand why one wants to score A-star all the time and cannot allow others to jeopardize your score, your time etc.? Yucks for having such a character.. Really..

Guilty

I'm guilty of buying lotsa stuffs and not finishing them timely before it expires and no one knows why the expired items are still sitting in the fridge or in the kitchen cabinets.. Sigh..

Clearing and throwing away those expired items made me realized what a huge waster of food and money I am..

No more buying unneccessarily unless I can visualize that I will use and be able to utilize the thing fully.. ;)

Family day

After the impromptu dim sum breakfast with family... We somehow thought it'd be nice to check out MBS today and so we drove to Marina Square.. but it turned out to be a rainy Sunday! Walking over from Marina Square in such a weather was a bit dampening..

The kiddos enjoyed themselves though, running around and playing with water flowing in this plateau-like fountain outside the branded shopping galleria.. ;)

The folks sat outside the Casino for a while to take a break.. Left the place shortly after and decided to have simple steamboat dinner at home with family.. ;)..

Oh well, will check out the place in greater detail next week.. ;)

Bought a pair of new running shoes for my weekly 2.4pm runs.. The shoe was carefully chosen after conducting an assessment of my running style and shape of my feet.. Hope it will serve me well.. :)

The month of October was a really crazy month! No matter how late the information came in and the unexpected hiccups, all tax returns were miraculously submitted on
time! Hmm.. But the acute stress is something I would love to do without if possible though I know there's no choice.. So I COMFORT myself by looking at my ah boy and my priced possessions and say, "都是为了你啊!".. 是真的吗？叹..

Whatever.. Ended the crazy month with a nice full day excursion at Sentosa with friends! Enjoyed the luge ride lots and had a nice Bento set for lunch, all these courtesy of Tian and GE Construction..

After lunch, we checked out Resorts World Sentosa, doesn't seem to be a lucrative business, a number of empty shop spaces and not many ppl shopping in the galleria. The affordable shops tend to have more ppl.. One good one is Candylicious! I like it and gathered a few interesting gift ideas.. Hehe..

Baby boy and I must have been a pretty sight tonight that I bumped into two friendly drivers on the road within an hour.. Singapore has suddenly became a gracious society?!.. Hmm.. Or they were friendly cos I am 女流之辈.. :$.. And friendly me never forget to acknowledge/thank them with a simple nod or gesture..

An eventful week

Dar and I realized that we aren't doing what we preach again for our lives.. Already slacked on our exercise regime so we worked on other aspects but this week was a week that kinda threw us off balance again.. Sigh.. Why does it happen every now and then?

Anyways, I was looking forward to the Mid-Autumn Festival, mooncakes, lanterns, candles.. Was contemplating between the usual girlfriends' gathering or to gather with my family.. Went with the flow and let iPhone Jess decide..

I felt happy since late afternoon at the thought of enjoying mooncakes (sis will be bringing lotsa mooncakes over, one of which is mao shan wang durian mooncakes!!!) and playing lanterns with my siblings and lovely nieces!

Unfortunately, received news that Papa Chua was super duper unwell.. So it became the first priority, to persuade and accompany him to visit the doc and find the cure to the root cause for the sudden increase in blood pressure.

IT TAKES TWO HANDS TO CLAP! Ended up spending 3-4 hours at SGH without finding the root cause but doc gave Papa Chua fast relief! His high blood pressure resumed to normal range within 2 hours.. Best!

Why were we not able to find the root cause?

Simply because the folks think that once warded will never get to
walk out. Put it simply, he rather lose that important breath than be manipulated by the docs who are supposed to be there to cure you. In this case, I suggest all docs out there to be put into jail cos they are out to kill you (patients) slowly and silently.. Haha..

I do try to understand their fear and wonder what fear is there to run tests and pop pills? 病从浅中医不是吗？Now it's just popping pills, what if it's worse than that?

Really TOUGH being kids to parents who choose to be their own doctors and make kids worry for them for as long as they live...真不自爱...说一套，做一套！哎.. Parents out there, remember this if you speak of how much you love your kids!

Once again, I am reminded of this at work.. I seriously need to be daring to negotiate and fight for interests. I need to unlearn putting others before me and fight for the interests of those who are with me always.. How? How? How? I really find this very very difficult.. Help, anyone? Makes me wonder if I am suitable.. Maybe i should give myself another year and see how..

Friends sleepover

Our dear friend from Penang who used to be my ex-colleague came to Singapore for training and she stayed over at our place during her extended 1 day stay. Candy stayed over too.

As it was a short day, my SO and I decided it's better not to pack the day with places which are touristy or simply shopping. So top priority is to bring her to places she misses and taste the foods she liked.

Picked her and Candy up from the hotel after my lesson and decided to go Tiong Bahru market for lunch. We had the popular cheng teng which is perfect for the hot day!

As we ate, we thought of Eddie & Yvonne who stayed nearby in their cool cool Pinnacle so guess what?!.. We called him offering cheng teng delivery services and popped by their place after our lunch.. Heehee... Once again had the chance to check out the roof garden... Gam Siah ah!

This is the however, the first time I checked out the entire rooftop and the 26th floor running track, exercise area and kids' playground! So niccceeeee!.. Hmm..

Then we settled dinner at Parkway Parade steamboat with her, Candy together with Eddie & Yvonne and their kiddos, followed by awesome durian ice-cream from Scoopz and the Koi drink as desserts.. Haha.. So full we were... *burpz~durian*.. Parted ways soon after and went home to settle down and rest.. ;)..

A day of eating like the times we were in Penang. It also made me realize that Singapore is really a shop and eat paradise apart from the newly launched tourist attractions.

It's really cool having friends sleeping over at our place! After freshening up, we had our pillow talk till it seemed pretty crazy IF we were not to take advantage of the few hours of rest before the alarm goes off.. ZzzzZzz..

Rinnnngggggg! Wakey wakey and to the Airport we go!

Recollection of virus attack

Sunday night, 9.30pm

Dar and I sat at the couch feeling sick, feverish with discomfort in our throats and me with a runny nose.. Aaaah... Choooo!!! Finally, I gave up and decided to take panadol and flu med left from my doc visit few months back as I desperately need to be well for work on Monday.

Monday, 650am

Felt better so changed and headed out for work. "Fakey morning"! Towards the second half of the day, I was almost K.O. Took med to sustain till end of the day! Waited eagerly for dar to pick me up so that I can quickly seek help from my usual doc BUT the clinic was closed! I'm so dying and hungry that I decided to quickly grab dinner and rest after taking the same med and see a doc the next morning.

Tuesday and Wednesday, down and out! Slept alot on Tuesday, 16 hours out of 24 hours but Wednesday I slept 10 out of 24 only cos I need to get back to work mode.

Thursday, 650am

Felt ok BUT after stepping into the aircon environment in office, all e symptoms came back. Luckily, I had my medicine with me so I popped the pills at the depicted timings and tried to stay focused on my work which I guess I didn't do very well, including the meeting that I needed to attend. *disappointed with myself*

Friday, 650am

Couldn't have felt worser than this.. Super duper sore sore throat and lost my voice for the morning, had to use lotsa strength to express what I wanna say in a clear manner. Good thing I slowly regained my lovely voice in the afternoon.. haha.. And the finale (I hope) was this, the green monster finally decided to show itself by wanting me to cough and fight it one on one.. And so Smart Smart me decided to spit it out in bits and pieces at different locations so that it cannot come as one! And I will win!!!

With that, I think I am on the route to "victory"! Coughing and spitting and coughing and spitting, with a bit of sore throat due to the coughing of course.. Ewe.. and Ouch..

Gosh, it has been a torturous 5 days and I've not recovered yet.. Sigh.. How many more days to go??? Wonder if I will get to sleep well with the coughing?? It has been years since I was ever so sick, if I remember correctly.. Get well soon, gal.. ;)

An interesting conversation..

The guy: "Hi, so you live on the 5th floor?"
Moi: "Hi, yes. You too?"
The guy: "Yes, the corner unit. So how do I address you?"
Moi: "Ms Chua"
The guy: "Oh, so formal ah?"
Moi: "Oh well, you can call me Jessica then."
(The lift reached the 5th floor and we said bye and that was it)

The second interesting conversation

We took the same lift with the guy.

The guy realized that we stay on e same floor and said, "Hi, you were the one who introduced yourself as Mrs.."

Moi: "Nope, not Mrs but Ms, Ms Chua.

The guy insisted I called myself Mrs something.

And so I insisted nope, that cannot be cos I never address myself as Mrs.

The guy insisted still. And I just said, anyway, he (referring to dar dar) knows me, so whatever.

The guy had no choice but said ok and left.

So crazy!

A totally weird conversation and a suitable title for the conversation we had was "Addressing one".

Hope I dun bump into him again to give him a chance to continue the silly conversation from where we left off. We probably have nothing much to say to each other such that how to address ourselves can be a topic for us every time we meet.

Oh yes, this must be mentioned! I realised that the teenagers these days speak lotsa vulgarity in front of friends and folks and smoke lots illegally.. The folks seemed pretty alright with that or they simply ignored what's going on.. Anyways, it's really none of my business since they are no kids of mine.. I carried on with my bbq.. Yumyum.. Haha..

But the first exchange of words among the teens which I heard in the morning outside my chalet like "KNN.. followed by.. CB lah.. then KNNCCB..", got me thinking.. If you were a parent, would you be concerned, how would you deal with this or would you trust that it's a phase and keep the faith that he or she will outgrow this and is still the courteous kid of yours.. Dun get me wrong, I speak some vulgarity too but not in every sentence or accompanied by every action.. Their "vocabulary" is really "good" or rather limited.. Hmm.. I gathered they probably feel proud knowing more than other kids their age, but shouldn't we learn to be humble instead of being a "show-off-er"?..

So happy! Two karaoke sessions over this long weekend.. Yippie! Simply love the feel of expressing the messages in the songs thru singing..;)..

A gathering at Costa Sands (Pasir Ris) chalet which I super duper looked forward to... cos it's a fun break from the usual routine weekend and so timely cos it's the weekend after my July peak! But with an unexpected wake, we had to shuttle to and fro the wake on 2 out of the 4 days.. :(..

Masked last night and left it on for 3hrs cos I dozed off.. Not the first time this happened.. 真是好心做坏事.. Sigh..

Hearing my body's protest, I decided to make today a detox day for me to clear all the junk I had during the peak period.. My meals were solely fresh fruits.. Hope it works.. When I return to office, I'm gonna throw away my snacks..

Had a fun-filled day being a guardian to my nieces at Explorer Kids and Julia Gabriels cos my bro wasn't feeling well.. Had a simple dinner at bugis foodcourt before heading home..

Settled some ironing and watched Jet Li's show.. Time to zzZz and wake up for my morning exercise!!! Goodnight!

This week has been a crazy work week for me so far! Gosh.. And I ate alot of junk that my body is retaliating now!!!

Anyways, finally completed the last 3 returns and went for a good dinner at Carl's Jr. but suddenly had to go back to office to pacify a "hiccup" or rather ;hiccups".. Luckily, managed to settle them.. Hope everything will be smooth till 31 July..

And yes, now it's time to sleep cos my eyes are stinging with fatigue BUT my mind is refusing to REST and my body feels so hot that I'm not in the mood and comfortable room temperature to sleep! Must be all the junk and the fried & spicy stuffs that I've been eating lately! 活该热死！

Am I gonna rip soon with this overheated "engine"? Oh no, if so then I think I better go for my cruise holiday and many many holidays at all costs! Haha.. TBD
